As far as the agent is concerned, I will say three words: education, education, education. Seriously, I believe 'short sales' will be an area in 2010 that will allow realtors to generate excellent income. But only if they help their neighbors and, in doing so, help their neighborhoods. Tell the agent to get a short sale designation immediately, check this blog (this is an issue I am passionate about and will post on often) and stay abreast of the local requirements.
